Sunlight and Soil
Plant tarragon in full or partial sun. Ensure well-drained soil. It can be grown indoors or outdoors.
 
Propagation
Take a 6-8 inch stem cutting and remove leaves from the bottom half. Place the cuttings in water, changing the water weekly until roots appear. Once roots are about 2 inches long, transplant the cuttings into moist soilless potting mix.
 
Care Tips
Water sparingly once established to avoid mildew problems. Mulch around plants in the fall. Prune to encourage bushier growth. Divide plants every 3-4 years.
