Here are some tips to get started with mushroom gardening:

1. Choose the right type of mushroom. Some popular varieties include button, shiitake, oyster, and portobello mushrooms.

2. Create a suitable environment. Mushrooms require a cool, dark, and humid environment to grow. You can create this environment by placing the mushroom bed in a cool, dark place such as a basement or garage 1.

3. Use the right substrate. The substrate is the material that the mushrooms grow on. Common substrates include straw, sawdust, and compost.

4. Keep the substrate moist. Mushrooms require a moist environment to grow. You can keep the substrate moist by misting it with water or by placing a damp cloth over it.

5. Harvest the mushrooms at the right time. Mushrooms should be harvested when they are fully grown but before the caps start to open up.
