Horticulturists are professionals who study and practice horticulture. They may be hired by botanical gardens, private/public gardens, the city/state/province/country, parks, cemeteries, greenhouses, golf courses, vineyards, estates, landscaping companies, nurseries, educational institutions, etc. Horticulture is divided into several categories which focus on the cultivation and processing of different types of plants and food items for specific purposes.
